Commissioned by Bromsgrove Council, this work takes
the form of three structures, which signal the commencement
of The Royal Hunters Walks - three new country walks
developed by Bromsgrove Council. GREEN MAN WALKING provides
orientation for users of the walks and introduces the
archetype of the Green Man. A travelling companion who
could potentially reappear along the walks in different
guises to guide and inform hikers at key points along
the three routes. The artwork creates the silhouette
of a walking figure by the alignment of three freestanding
structures located against the tree line behind.
